About me

I am an experienced leader of teams and organisations, from start-ups to multi-million dollar companies.  I now sit on a number of Boards and am an executive coach and business mentor.  I have qualifications in leadership, governance and science.

An experienced speaker and facilitator, I am able to engage audiences with what some people would say is a quirky sense of humour.

I have learnt that communication is the key to success in everything we do, both personally and professionally.  The ability to read people and situations and respond in a measured and appropriate manner is a skill that does not always come naturally but can be learned and developed.

Horses keep me grounded. I was born with a “thing” for horses and they have been the one constant in my life.  My appreciation of their power has grown and refined over time.

I am at my happiest, and sometimes saddest hanging with horses – in the paddock, in the mud, in my gumboots.

I want to share this –  the fun, the insights and the rewards of horses – and the things they can teach us as people, team members and leaders.

 Why?

Because I believe this is where really truthful conversations take place.
