Effective leadership is dynamic.

Gone are the days of the autocratic manager demanding unquestioning compliance and loyalty. If you’re tough enough you can get someone to do things…for a while.

Today’s manager needs to be a collaborative leader, mentor, and visionary with empathy towards the needs of the team, while still achieving the results for the success of the business.

It’s no small task.

It all starts with you…

Successful leaders are into people, starting with themselves.

Horses aren’t impressed by status, position or possessions – they are impressed by presence, connection and reward this with trust.

They will read you in a second – your body language, your mood, your energy.

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable

This is where change happens.

Stepping out of your comfort zone requires a range of skills you rarely get the opportunity to practice and strengthen.

This designer experience aims to do just that – take you out of the comfort of the known. It’s a blend of looking at your self and your colleagues differently while at the same time developing connection and trust.

“Dynamic leadership” gives you a different perspective and the opportunity to become more effective.

Our aim is for you to enjoy the day because we believe laughter enhances learning.

It’s also our job, as experienced horse people who have done a bit of leadership, to tailor the program to meet individual and group needs, and to keep everyone and every horse safe.

Trust….to get to trust we believe you need connection and that means paying attention and being present.

Theory into practices

The day revolves around hands-on experiential learning. We give you the opportunity to flex your leadership muscles in a new and different environment and without the constraints of an “organisational chart”.

Practice under (a little bit of) pressure

Because life isn’t a box of chocolates, we give you the opportunity to see what happens when a little bit of competition is thrown into the mix!

The Equiquest is a series of individual and team challenges that give some insights into what happens under pressure, with jobs to complete and timelines.

It’s all about putting the learnings to purpose.
