Overview:
There’s something about the smell and touch of a horse….
“Hanging with horses” is your chance to experience the power of presence and connection with our lovely horses.
How you spend your time is up to you. It might include grooming, leading and handling a horse. If that’s outside your comfort zone you might want to just chill and watch the herd dynamics. Or meet the cows and spend some time drawing breath….you might see deer or kangaroo or one of our local wedge-tailed eagles!
Catering for a range of levels of experience, we will cover the basics of safely being around horses.
Feel free to dress like a cowgirl/boy, but at a minimum you will need sensible footwear (flat heels, closed toes and preferably leather).
If you are considering an equine addition to your family we can assist with training in all areas of horse handling from general care and feeding through to tacking up and float loading.
Includes:
- Horse safety
- Basic horsemanship and horse management (if interested)
- Basic horse “reading”
- Access to one of the Triquetra team horses and associated tack
- Tea and coffee
